Bioinoculants

The OCP and Metcalf range of bioinoculants were researched and developed from indigenous isolates selected for maximum benefit to the plant. We will continue to expand this range as more isolates are being discovered with specific traits to enhance the soil and canopy biological balance.

Isolate Td81b

Td 81b contains spores and cfu’s of a naturally occuring beneficial fungi called Trichoderma hazianum. The fungi was specifically isolated from late season grape skins showing no signs of rot in a rot affected vineyard. Researched and developed for both grape and stonefruit producers.
Pack size: 100g

Isolate Td67

Td67 is an early season spray made up of Trichoderma koningii. It was isolated from grape flowers so it is ideally suited to colonizing this environment
Pack size: 100g

Phytoguard

Phytoguard contains Trichoderma hamatum isolates AVC1 & AVA2. When applied to the soil Phytoguard re-establishes the natural balance of good soil fungi in soils affected by a high incidence of Phytophthora. Trials have shown it enhances healthy root development and re-establishes normal plant growth and development.

RhizoVital 42

25 billion The good bacteria for the soil

The product RhizoVital 42 is a biostimulant and contains spores of the naturally occurring soil bacteria Bacillus amyloliquefaciens FZB 42. After the application the bacteria germinate and colonize the young growing roots and release hormones, which stimulate plant growth, and substances that improve availability of nutrients for the plant.

RhizoVital42 helps the plant to build stronger and healthier roots and to improve its tolerance towards biotic (pathogens) and abiotic (water deficiency, salt) stress. For this reason RhizoVital42 increases plant growth and effects higher yields.

Trich-A-Soil

Trich-A-Soil contains an indigenous strain of Trichoderma virde isolated from wheat stubble where it demonstrated an ablity to help plants grow in Fusarium oxysporum infected soils. It also appears to have significant growth effects on plants in the presence of diseases like Pythium and Rhizoctonia in horticultural crops, hydroponics and profesional turf.
