eco-oil Organic Miticide Insecticide
The active constituent in eco-oil comes from 100% Australian-grown plants. eco-oil® controls pests like mites, aphids, whitefly, leafminer, mealybug and scale by suffocating them on treated surfaces. eco-oil® also contains HIPPO (Herbivore Induced Plant Protection Odour) which helps plants defend themselves by attracting predatory insects that feed on other insect pests.
- Eco-oil is a registered organic botanical oil based organic miticide/insecticide made from 100% Australian-grown oils. As it is botanical-oil based it has a lower potential to burn plants compared with mineral oils
- Controls a broad range of insects, including scale, mites, aphids, whitefly and leafminer. The recently expanded label also includes suppression of scale in wildflowers and black scale in olives
- Due to eco-oil’s physical mode of action there is no potential for spray resistance from overuse. Hence it will help growers control resistance sensitive pests like mites, aphids and whitefly year after year
- Will attract beneficial insects into treated crops which enhances biological control
- Carries no withholding periods, or re-entry restrictions
Active constituent: 850 g/L emulsifiable botanical oils
eco-oil® is best applied at the first sign of a pest infestation so regular inspection of plants is important for effective control. It works by coming in direct contact with pests, so must be applied with spray volumes that provide adequate coverage of the plant. The HIPPO component of eco-oil provides a secondary impact on pest infestations by attracting predatory insects into the crop.
Pest Control Application Instructions

Where compatibility is unknown, a pre-test should be performed on a small area of foliage before widespread application.
